I cannot believe that it is now half way through the second month of 2023 - so help me I do not know where the time has gone. Aside from Covid affecting everywhere and everyone over the last few years, I have had a rather challenging time that has really knocked the stuffing out of me - so to speak.
Anyway, enough of that, this year I have decided to pick myself up, dust myself off, and move forward - no looking back.
To begin with I had a BIG clean out of my craft cave and off loaded projects that have been hanging around for years, and have begun a couple of new projects, yes just two for this year. Having said that amongst my clean up I came across a couple of cross stitch projects I have been meaning to do and decided that they would definitely be being completed.
The first one is a cross-stitch I did for my friend Karen (from Karen's Korner) and her husband for their 50th wedding anniversary. I also got them a lovely set of stemless champagne flutes to go with the cross-stitch.
The other one is being done for hubby, and this is a shameful admission, I have had the pattern for 17 years - think it's about time I got around to doing it, don't you?
Hopefully this is the beginning of getting my sewing mojo back in place.
For now though,
June
