The Bears Have It

I was beginning to think that another month would go by without me having any finishes and yet I seem to have been stitching and sewing all through the last month or so.

Working on these has been a real joy and of course one of the bears has a very cheeky disposition.

I have put them together so they will sit on the small quilt stand that hubby made for me quite some time ago.

As you can see Crosby has been diving into my bag that my friend Karen (from Karen's Korner made for me some 9 years ago, and gracious me, she managed to furnish me with some of the fabric that she had left. Just goes to show, we never throw anything out do we? Anyway Crosby was looking for his favourite treat - chocolate ..... and found it!

And doesn't he just love it. Crosby is the bear that travels with us when we go 'on the road' and I write stories of his 'mis-adventures' for our grandchildren.

I now have only one more set of my mini quilts to do to complete all that I am going to make. The next set will be my 'Uniquely Australian' set. It might be a while before I get into this et, as I have a few other projects to carry on with.

Think it might be time to check out my plans for tomorrow which will include the ironing for starters. Then I shall have a look at finishing another project I have on the go.

For now, I hope everyone is taking care and keeping safe.

'Til next time,

June

  3. Like Crosby I have been feeling like chocolate lately but have resisted as I have already put on weight over the past few weeks. Thank goodness the cold front has passed and we are back to sunny blue skies again.
